Friends

Lunch with the girls
Is always fun,
We can gossip and giggle,
And crack the odd pun.
We don't have to worry,
Or put on airs,
But relax in the company
And be sad when it's done,
Lunch with the girls

I had lunch with some lovely friends, who I've known for 26 years when we worked together at the BBC. We try to get together at least once a year.
