I always like the look of this florist which is in a lovely square outside the cathedral in perpignan. Unfortunately it has prices to match its looks! I'll end up at the local 'jardenerie' or market for a few geraniums for my balcony.
It was my first day of a 2 week intensive French course, and was fairly intensive. Desperate for a bit of English conversation afterwards I went on to a newly organised 'English speaking' book club in a lovely little cafe nearby here. A couple of young French women heard us chatting and enquired about joining the group so it may be a 'multi-language' book club before too long!
