New data source.

Norway is planning a new national database with public access to LiDAR-data, one of the things I'm working with almost daily. I've been given access to the test database, which is planned to go online on June 1st. This was the other part of my visit in Lillehammer, which acts as the archaeological headquarters for this type of data.

This is just a taste of our new abilities. This is a high density image of an Iron Age farmstead (center of image) with surrounding burial mounds and mounds from clearing agricultural areas. This is like Christmas for someone like me.
