The Canopy roof

The new Halles complex - conservatory, center for hip-hop, cinema and large shopping complex linking to a large park and the underground transport system - just opened after 5 years construction.  Still some finishing work to the area for the next 2 years...

This steel and glass canopy roof (like the canopy that trees make in the forest, pre the architects) will likely soon be as iconic to Paris as the  Pompidou Center near it.
