low cloud

1. I'm up pretty early and catch this view from my window. The cloud is stuck in the trees. By the time I leave, the sky is back to it's usual dull self.

2. Over to Edinburgh for a meeting at the Festival Theatre. I like the folk in this meeting a lot.

3. I head to the station via Blackwells and spend a happy wee while browsing. I leave with two Nora Ephron books.

4. Gutted to have missed the Tony Swain exhibition at Fruitmarket, but it's about time I get back to work.

5. I spend the journey laughing - out loud and often - at Heartburn. It's fantastic. Fantastic.
