Big brother
I was going to blip my mams button box but then i saw this and couldn't resist!
I've been having a bit of a tidy for father. It's been quite interesting and brought many fond memories back. The button box for one, the sewing tin which used to live on the left hand side of the right drawer in the dresser in the living room. It used to have every colour cotton thread needed, never short of needles or pins, safety pins, tape measure and scissors. It still has the same today. So its been put away so when we find it again in a few years the memories will still be there.
The tidying took a little longer than it should. I found some interesting things which need to be looked at, read or played with. In one of the boxes I found this tin, its an old quality street tin, when tins were tins and not this plastic poo we get today. The old quality street TIN came with a solitaire board and a warning. "There are 87 marbles in this tin do not lose any".
So having tried to do the solitaire board, which i used to be able to do, but couldn't today, I thought I'd count the marbles.
There should have been 87 because no one should have lost any! Oh dear they are short! Theres only 75. Someone must have lost some.
Someone hasn't followed instructions!
Sorry big brother!
