When the Boats Come In
We caught the La'al Ratty steam train from a stop a few minutes walk from the house down to Ravenglass, by the coast. The tide was out but it was pretty cold so we didn't hang around outside for long.
We found a pub for lunch and then caught the train back.
The children are having a great time and seem to prefer spending time in the house playing pool and table football.
The views are so stunning from the conservatory, the rest of us are quite content to sit and look at the scenery with a glass of wine.
Sam cooked this evening (pulled pork) then Eve provided pancakes for pudding.
Now to sort out a walk for tomorrow (weather permitting).
