Appleby :-)

Currently up in wee Troon visiting my sister with my Mum. It's one heck of a drive so we stopped off in Appleby on the way up to break up the drive :-) We enjoyed a lovely stroll along the river and around the town. Again, the evidence of the flooding remains very much present with lots of landslips along the river bank and many empty shops, cafes and homes. Such a shame for the small little town...

I spotted this cheery soul though and just loved her!!
