Broughty Ferry Castle
10.9C starting wet. Drying through the morning. Clearing and brighter by late afternoon. Light WNW breeze.
This morning there was a short break in the seemingly endless packing as we had to make a trip to Broughty Ferry where we visited our bank then had coffee in Caffe Nero. We went back to the car and got Maeve the Deerhound then went for a short walk. From one pier looking across the harbour pier I got this shot of Broughty Ferry Castle.
After lunch we resumed the job of packing. Piles of boxes grew again.
Cupboards and built in wardrobes are emptying.
At about half past five we took Maeve for a walk so we could all get out of the house and take stock. Just a two mile loop down to the shore road and round to the main road and back home. By then it was clearer and brighter and we enjoyed the walk.
When we got back I had the unenviable task of heaving three old appliances out of the garage and "walking" them down to the end of the driveway. We have booked the council service to pick them up tomorrow for disposal. I hope I don't need to get one of the cars out before they are picked up !
