Cafe decor...

After a cold drizzly day hubby and I decided to have dinner out after being in Christchurch for an appointment but we were too early so headed out country. It was warm and welcoming as we entered the building with a roaring log fire going, felt good. But the meal was less than satisfying, certainly didn't capture our taste buds, it was very disappointing, the first time hubby has ever complained. We tried to find somewhere else for dessert and coffee but being Monday and now in winter hours nothing was open, we came home and had ice cream with chocolate sauce. For locals this place is not in Rangiora, Kaiapoi or Christchurch.
