A Fool for Peanuts

I was bound and determined to get a shot of one of our backyard fools today for the MM challenge.  I mean, really, how hard could that be!  So I set some peanuts out in various places and waited……and waited…..and waited.  The Cardinals, Titmice, Chickadees and Junco’s came by and gave them a passing glance, but the fool squirrels, who are usually in abundance, were nowhere to be found.   

Fortunately, I had my book as well, so I could work on the 600+ pages I need to have read by tomorrow night’s book club meeting.   Finally after a few hours, a squirrel came by and took a peanut and ran up the tree.  I got my shot, but I ask you…. who’s the real fool here?
