Not As Bad As It Looks

My Dear Fellow,

I was trying to find a photo that summed up this morning.  I had one of the dark stairwell on my way out, and another than I quite liked of rain dripping off the bus stop sign.  

The thing is, they looked a bit grim and that's not actually how I felt.  I like the rain, and anyway, this is Scotland and rain comes with the territory. Plus I like the way the light bounces off the pavement and the rain woke me up on a Monday morning when I would have happily gone back to bed.

Of course, it is much better to listen to the rain from inside, and that's precisely what I'm doing now.
