Bradford-on-Avon (Saturday 2nd April 2016)

I've been meaning to revisit Bradford for some weeks, but for one reason or another my plans had been thwarted. On Saturday, however, the planets aligned and I made it over there.

I'm more familiar with the southern part of the small town because it's where I park and the northern part is narrow and hilly, but on this occasion I spotted a parking space near the top of the hill and pulled over and made a good exploration of the many shops and interesting old buildings there as I wended my way down to the Bull Pit beside the River Avon, a site I have blipped before. I made it back to the car before the one-hour limit expired and took quite a few shots that will appear when the Flickr album of the day gets posted and linked to.

I re-parked in Pound Lane near the Tithe Barn (also blipped before) and walked up to the Kennet and Avon and along to Bradford Wharf, capturing this blip on approach. There were quite a view boaters on holiday with a hire boat from nearby Foxhangers and lots of sightseers. It's a pleasant spot to hang out and there is an area higher up opposite the wharf with bench tables where I was able to sit and read and observe what was going on below for quite awhile until it was time to drift back to the car.
