Looking for a retirement project?

This is the Oban Inn, on the corner of Stafford Street and the Corran Esplanade in Oban. Built in the early 19th century, it's a listed building and has been closed for the last 7 years or so and needs a buyer or a lessee before it disappears. 

On the left is the site of the Argyll Hotel, awaiting rebuilding as a four star boutique, whatever that is! It was supposed to be open for business in June, but I don't think so - it hasn't been started yet! On the right is the newly revamped outdoor seating area and pavement in Stafford Street- the building next door is getting a face-lift too.

So if you're looking for a retirement project, here's a ready-made one! It was a popular local pub not long ago.
