Once Upon A Time In Anatolia

Decided to branch out into the cute kitty oeuvre!

Four years in Canberra and my aunt's birthday....

We unwittingly celebrated both with our Turkish evening - a delicious banquet from Kismet and a movie I had been longing longing longing to see....

One of the menfolk slumbered through it, and the other insisted on stopping halfway thru (just when it looked like something was finally about to happen)

But I loved it big time, and look forward to completing it tonight, even without the lovely company of my sister.

Loved the atmosphere and the rumble of gravelly Turkish voices. As did Polly, apparently - at least she was soon helping herself to Irkutsk's glass of water!
