'New Haileybury College ELC'

Myself and 3 colleagues from the office spent the entire day out at the new Haileybury City Campus today inspecting the building works and writing up defects reports. It's been a long and tiring day and we still have more to complete tomorrow morning.

This is a pretty special project for us to be involved in as it's the first vertical school in Melbourne, from early learning right through to year 12. The only part of the school that can open mid year is the ELC part, all other areas need to start at the beginning of the new school year in 2017. Lots more work to be done on this project, but it's great to see Stage 1 almost complete and ready to take its first students when school resumes next week.

This is a shot inside the entry to the ELC, a kids seating area, beautifully set up and ready for the new kids to come and enjoy next week.

Such a beautiful day in Melbourne today that we got take away Malaysian food for lunch and went and sat on the grass in the Flagstaff Gardens opposite the school. This ELC is on level 3 on the 10 storey building and the outdoor play area overlooks the Flagstaff Gardens and provides a great backdrop.
