Pre Sunrise
Couldn't come here without trying to get one sunrise.
Heavy rain all night, l do like the sound of it on the roof when l'm nice and warm in bed. Very little light pollution here so it was only when l saw a sliver of light through the curtains that l ventured out of bed and looked out of the kitchen window towards the sea.
Could see some breaks of light in the high clouds and the birds were singing away.
Got dressed and even though it was over an hour before sunrise l walked down to the beach, everything was saturated by the overnight rain.
As l turned the corner of the lane l literally gasped out loud.
On the horizon across the sea l could see the Snowdonia Mountain Range smothered in swirling low cloud, it truly was breathtaking.
Nothing to do then but run ( often stopping to walk) as much as l could down to the beach.
I did keep stopping to take a photograph in fear that it would have gone by the time l got to the seafront.
Once there l took lots of photographs and after waiting for a while did indeed see a glorious sunrise but it was this one that l loved the most taken from the golf course that is set just above the beach.
