Sunshine all day.  The temperature reached double figures, and was meant to be about 10C or 11C, but felt much warmer in sheltered spots.

Lots of bird activity in the garden today, and I really tried to capture wrens but found it very difficult to spot them, and harder still to get a picture.

This blackbird sat beside me for about half an hour, just a couple of metres from me, which felt very companionable, as we both enjoyed the sunshine.  There are 4 or 5 males in the garden, but this one is the tamest.  He sat with his mouth open some of the time, which I presume is because of the heat, as I've seen sparrows doing this abroad :)
