Not Your Typical Easter
Sugar woke up pretty excited to have a special Easter. It wasn't to be like our usual Easters, as we would not be spending it with family. The day started with the pleasure of discovering her Easter Basket, and then a rainy egg hunt outside. These activities were pretty normal. It always seems to rain on Easter around here.
After a yummy breakfast, The Sugar and I headed to a nearby town for some quality time together. The Hubby decided to stay home. The sun came out as we drove, and we quickly found ourselves enjoying ice cream, and a beautiful time at the beach. We haven't been to this particular beach before, and we LOVED all the rocks. Several folks were there sifting through the rocks in hopes of finding treasure, so we joined them. We found several rocks that pleased our eyes, and we pocket them to bring home for George's tank. The weather was perfect, and we soaked up the sun, and felt to very blessed. We people watched, and enjoyed a few giggles when folks didn't realize that the tide was coming in, and got surprised by the waves. No one was hurt, and it was a good lesson for Sugar on NEVER trusting the ocean.
We headed home for a nice dinner with The Hubby, and off to bed with happy hearts. It was hard to see Spring Break end, but we felt so blessed to have had a nice break together.
