Take Off
We had to go into Inverness this morning to do some 'boring' food shopping and to pick up some brackets from B&Q.
It was a very misty start to the day which eventually turned to rain but ended with sunshine,
The Firth was looking stunning through the mist, so calm with wonderful reflections of the bridge, This heron took off as I walked round the Lifeboat station. Two mute swans were busy feeding and preening.
Bought a few cheap plants from Morrisons and a few more from B&Q. In fact I;m really pleased as their mini daffs were reduced to £2 for a tray and they are still looking good and of course will come up again next year. They have now been planted and some of the garden looks full of colour. Mike finished building the bottom pit, too big to call it a raised bed infact if we lined it we could almost swim in it lol !
The pheasant was around again, looking very handsome although I think he may have damaged his foot.
The horses were also happy to see the sun and one was almost flying through the air.
I've just watched a new drama on ITV called 'The Durrells' I really enjoyed and looking forward to next weeks .
