Corin and I celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary today. It was a very happy day then, and today has been just as lovely, in different ways.
We wandered (i.e. Corin drove us) up to Burscough to Martin Mere Wetlands centre where we happily mooched for a couple of hours. We were treated to flamingos (noisy, but very entertaining), Cranes (magnificent with silly hair), otters (mentalists) and a seemingly unlimited supply of various species of duck and goose. We even saw 'Eider' ducks, who give up their feathers to make eiderdowns.
Hadn't even realised I had caught these two doing this - but it seemed apt to use it as they look like they are forming a heart. In reality, they were actually either fighting or going through a very aggressive courtship ritual.
A couple of extras have been added and a full set are on here! I am particularly pleased with my photos for a change.
