The dubious delights of checkpoints

It felt like a long old journey home today, not helped by numerous checkpoints (for which we are actually very grateful). The driving in this country can be horrendous, influenced by the fatalistic beliefs and not helped by all the trucks which can no longer travel other routes south.

It was worth it though for a truly wonderful time at the retreat.
