Down in the Orchard

A little bit of weekend pottering in the orchard - a bit of blossom starting to appear on the pear trees - and rehanging the freshly cleaned and filled feeders.  

The bird life seems a little bit thin this weekend, there's a temptation to blame that on the dead (but ornithologically useful) Salix that got cleared last week... Hopefully the new food supplies here and elsewhere in the garden will lure them back in.
