We waited until the rain eased off before we went up to the allotment, where we spent a couple or more hours, digging, planting, weeding, sowing. Came home having somewhat knackered so didn't manage to do much else.

First time we'd seen a ladybird this season - there were several, in fact. Very helpful creatures!
