Causeway

I think this is a blip milestone of sorts; three years worth of pictures but it has taken me four years and a bit. I thought this abstract was appropriate as it was taken at the same location as my first blip, and I have revisited it often for a safety shot. And I was keen to try out my new 10 stop filter.

It's interesting to look back to my first few days. Some of the people who welcomed me then are still active. My early blips were more imaginative, perhaps, than later ones, and certainly they got more views. That, and the Polaroid period, discouraged me for a while. I'm optimistic that the site has a future under community ownership, and that is what brought me back.
