The ugly chickling

This is the only egg that has hatched out of 19 that we set in the incubator. He's a poor lonely little chick. This is our first time using the incubator and it was very last minute as our old cockerel died so we quickly threw all the hen eggs we had at the time into the incubator. It was amazing watching how he hatched yesterday. Dris came in to say hello to him when we put him in his wee brooder box.

Two new lambs today so far. One ewe and lamb back to the fields and another ewe about ready to head out of intensive care with her twins.
