Narcissi

When I moved into this house the border on the outside of my fence was full of stones and lumps of tarmac. It's not part of my property but it looked a mess. Gradually, I filled it in, mainly by emptying the old contents of pots from around the garden whenever I was repotting. My original intention was simply to allow grass to grow that I could mow to look tidy and later in the year that is what happens. But in Spring all these bulbs come up; I didn't consciously plant them so I can only think that they must have been in some of the pots that I emptied out. They are always much later than most daffodils and narcissi so are only just coming into bloom as many others are now past their best.
