Meadow Pipit

We went on a walk from Helsby today as I tried to sort out a walk for the walking group next month. Unfortunately it wasn't very suitable and I will have to find an alternative.

On the way round we spotted this bird. At first we thought it was a skylark but we now think it is probably a meadow pipit. They look similar but the pipit is smaller.
