Cigs

Lindsay Road

For some, the Tate, the Guggenheim, the Met, for others the Image Collective's Space at the OT.

As we strolled out on Saturday evening to see a couple of friends' work on display in Leith we idly mused about exhibiting.

And the attention to detail included by the curator of the latest Cigs exhibition in Leith is powerful. Carefully positioned urban grit; discarded toys, the ubiquitous (orange) traffic cone, the ironic /iconic supermarket trolley - the perfect setting for a fine white outline only 2015 rendering of the corporate logo in a bubble style.

As we passed, there were a few orange stickers. (Or it might have been Tel's latest attempt at tagging; hard to tell; he's still in the primitive stage)
