Looking For The Light.
A very enjoyable and social weekend began on Friday night with the birthday dinner. One of the party suggested if it was wet on Saturday we could go to the movies. It was suitably wet and so the three couples joined a full theatre to watch Hunt For The Wilderpeople. It is the most recent New Zealand made film to hit the screen. We all loved it and laughed and understood the references to popular N.Z culture but we are not sure if it will be understood by overseas audiences. We followed up with coffee and then we went for a sleep over at Megl. The forester gave them firewood and Meg cooked us a delicious dinner. This morning Meg took me to a jetty I have been seeing for years but not seeing. I had never made the connection to where the jetty points to. I used a slow shutter speed to smooth out the water. I like how solitary it looks. Oh and she also held a filter in front of the lens to darken and add to the mood.
Thank you Meg for the lesson.
