Busking Big

Shrewsbury really is a wonderful, wonderful little town filled with people who are striving to make a difference. Our homeless population might not be massive, but that doesn't stop amazing people getting together to help those who find themselves in difficult situations (even if the homeless population is one, it's one too many). Today was the annual Big Busk, where performers from across Shropshire came together in one big musical extravaganza to help support charities working with vulnerable and homeless people. There was a wonderful array of talent on display: aged ukulele players, morris dancers, opera singers, indie hipsters, a family reggae band and the cutest strumming kid ever (literally, he just strummed: with a great big smile on his face). Great day of people watching and foot tapping.

A pain free but very sweaty 10km in the sunshine followed by homemade pizza. Fantastico!

(A couple of extra pics. This guy really caught my eye. Matching hair, sunglasses and guitar. On point).
