New toy
This morning a huge truck was parked on our narrow street trimming the trees away from the power lines. (Why don't they put the lines underground?) I drove my car to my Pilates class because it was in the way of the chipper and there was no place else on the street to park it (except for our driveway which was blocked by the big truck.) Things were further complicated by another construction project at the end of the road which didn't start until after I left, but prevented me from getting back home. Whoever figures out the logistics of these big projects on small streets has apparently never heard of smaller trucks!
I walked to the grocery store for the ingredients for some vegetables and spices for our Indian feast tonight with Roots and Nev and some chef friends who will also be contributing dishes. This is the ideal way to have Indian food, since one person doesn't have enough hands (or servants) to make all the breads, curries, raitas, dals and biryanis for a proper banquet.
The unintended consequence of my picture of my new computer was the reflection of me taking a picture of it on the screen, which is why I chose it for my blip today.
