The missing piece

My (quite ill) elderly father is staying with me over the Easter period. It can be a bit taxing and hard to keep him amused. I bought some puzzle books and jigsaws to occupy him, but he's not really that interested. I persuaded/forced him to have a go at one puzzle but my daughter was the one who actually sat and finished it. 500 pieces and the dog ate three of them.......sigh
