Nice that I didn't have to go into school today and we decided to take advantage of our surroundings and have a relax by the pool in the afternoon and split a club sandwich for lunch. I think the last time we did this was in Luxor. It feels strange to be able to be able to lie by the pool in a swimming costume, but then have to cover up my arms and legs to walk out the hotel door. The pool and gym's open 24 hours, so I hope to get a few splashes in during the week. The flat's meant to be ready by next Saturday.....so we'll see.

We'll go into school at 8 tomorrow morning to make sure all's in order for our 9.30 start. We're ready to go, but other teachers may have used our training room for level testing today and so it could be messed up. The computers were all working yesterday, but that doesn't mean they'll be working tomorrow!

Now going to go out for a walk and buy in a few basic food things for during the week - cheese, oatcakes, fruit etc. It's all very well being in this lovely hotel, but it would turn out quite expensive if I ate here every night on school nights! I'm going to miss being able to make my lunch to take to school too.
