Mines and caves

We visited an old age pensioner today.

He seemed pleased to see us.

He was having a play with a light he found. It runs off carbide and water.

So with the lid off the carbide and water in its tank a bright light flickered.

This is a bike light apparently. It says ont net these lights are still used in mines and caves.
