Sunset Swan

The resident swan pair have set up their nest again - right along the side of the lake at Trentham Gardens. I was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of her clutch of 5 eggs as she stood up and shuffled them all round. She successfully hatched 5 last year too, and they all survived. So I'm looking foward to seeing the cygnets.

It's the first week that the gardens have been open into the evening, and was the first chance I've had to visit them after work. I spent nearly 2 hours just wandering around enjoying the late afternoon sun and the peace and quiet - bliss!
