In Transit

We left London this morning for our trip to Florida. Because Amy will be travelling home with us and not with her team, we had to change her flights and that meant we had to follow the same flight pattern. So we weren't flying direct to Florida but via Newark.

All went smoothly and we got to Newark early. Which turned out to be a bonus because the queue to get through security was horrendous and that, combined with the fact that the gate number the flight was leaving from was not the same as we had on our boarding pass which we had been given in London! After a frantic run through Newark airport, we made the flight... phew!

Arrived in a tropical rain storm... hoping for some sun from the sunshine state tomorrow!
