This ship has sailed

A visit to Rochefort to see the replica sailing ship l'Hermione, which had just been launched. Unfortunately, because they were clearing up after the big launch event, you couldn't actually get on the ship, which was a shame - though we did eventually get a bit closer than this.

La Corderie Royale was excellent; as one of the kids said, "I never knew rope could be so interesting."
