The gorgeous blue orb was pretty red actually.

Ally was at last patchless and the consultant is happy with the patchwork.
Detached retina is not to be sneezed at, but at least it is fixed and his baby blues have a chance of being stereo photic. (I know I just made that up.)
No sight in one eye is a scarey thing and Ally still says, " It is what it is".
