Spider

Last week I met a delightful couple aged 85 years young whilst walking in the local woods.  They had travelled some 30 odd miles from Workington specially to walk in Finlandrigg Woods.  Anyhow they were asking me if the carvings were still about.  I told them that the main one had now gone but there was still another left.  So today I thought I would have a look to see if it actually was still there, it was!  It is decaying quite a lot though.

I have a new little camera to play with....  its so small and light and will fit in my pocket when I go fell walking, can't wait to start using it.  Hopefully my sore joints will be happy with the lighter load.  I part exchanged it with a couple of my old dslrs which were in the cupboard gathering dust.   I had to reassure my Panasonic that it wasn't being abandoned and is still my favourite camera :)
