Visitors!

Our day started 4.45 . Andrew was off to London by train and we took him to the station (not before he lost a contact lens five minutes after we should have been out the door!!) Saw him off at 5.45 and came home to have breakfast. Shopping next and then  housework as  the forecast was awful.

However a wee visitor and her Mummy popped in mid morning and Mummy went home alone! Eve stayed for lunch and played with Lego.

Euan and Ali came up to collect Eve and we continued with our chores. A message on Facebook  alerted me to the fact that my cousin's daughter and son were visiting the Kelpies. It was stoating ( I love that word!) of rain!! 

We were delighted when they turned up at our door and then James and Fifi called. A day that started out rather mundanely turned into a very nice one. Mind you, we often find that!
