Montacute House, Somerset.

I loved Wolf Hall ( both book and TV series) and this Elizabethan mansion was used for some of the TV filming. The stained glass is on the ground floor but upstairs is the 'long gallery', which runs the entire length of the house. Great for cartwheels I thought! There are also interesting Tudor portraits from the National Gallery to see too. Thumbs up NT!
