Forget-me-not

I can hardly forget these as they come up reliably every year in my vegetable bed - despite being cruelly "weeded out" when it comes to plant the vegs!

However, they are a welcome herald of spring / early summer and make for great macro lens practise for an entry to Fower Friday.

I wanted to focus stack them for more DOF, but it was too windy. A primrose growing in the lawn (good excuse not to mow!) just about lent itself to this technique - but if you look closely at the results, in extras, the petals and blades of grass show signns of movement
