Day 302: Gothic and Fruity

The catherdral in the gothic quarter. We arrived to torrential rain but the sun is now out and promising to keep the rain away most of the weekend. We have already had Spanish omelette followed by complimentary shots of something very alcoholic (I had to drink David's) and several glasses of cava. We have had a wander around - the market was a riot of colours and smells (see extras - if I get a chance I will go back with the Go Pro).


I don't have the big camera with me - this was taken on David's phone and faffed about with in Enlight.

Tomorrow - Montjuic in the morning and then a knockabout football match with a couple of half decent players in the evening.

I was so pleased with myself for learning a few Catalan phrases but everyone replies in English. Which I suppose is for the best as I'd have not a clue what they were saying otherwise!
