Practice makes perfect

Storm Katie brought down three trees at Normous' golf club. The green keepers were quick to get the chain saws working and clear them away. Ever one for a bargain, Normous usually has first call on the logs (past captain's perks!) for our open fire, so today we went down to collect them.
It was a treat for me to get out and I went for a wander while he loaded up the logs. I'm walking well now with one stick. This pretty magnolia with its attendant daffodils is in front of the clubhouse, overlooking the practice range. The yellow tinge of the grass in the distance is not dandelions, it is the yellow practice balls!
