With rain forecast for 10 o'clock there was only one way to get a dry blip and that was to head out straight after breakfast. 

Destination High Sweden Bridge, not much more than a mile but uphill all the way. At the last gate there was much evidence of recent cattle activity but it wasn't until I'd crossed the bridge that I spotted them. 

For those that recall my blips on the Scandale Hydro Scheme I can report that the work is almost finished. The previous grassy route down to Nook Lane is now an unsightly and uncomfortable to walk on stony track and three of my favourite views and photo stops are no longer as beautiful as before.
