Growing Up

Bella took 2 more steps away from me and towards adulthood today. A strange feeling but not sad or upsetting. More a feeling of pride in her. Her confidence has grown so much since we moved down here and she joined the school she will be leaving on Friday.

So firstly was the Yr6 day at the secondary school. Her BF (best not boy ;-) ) called for her and off they went. Reddy and I trailed along behind them, but really we superfluous.

So we waved goodbye and joined Mum and Clare for a cheeky Killigrew before taking Red to his last Tiddlers. And mine. I went to my first toddler group in September 2001 when Bella was 6 weeks old and have been attending a variety ever since. So another stage is over.

The second step was Bella making her promise at Guides. I used to be a regular parent helper when she was a Rainbow. Then of course I was one of her Brownie leaders. But I won't can't help out at Guides so she is again making her own way...
