In Transition

A few short weeks ago this hydrangea flower head was pink...from delicate pale shades to darker more dramatic pinks it was quite striking. It is Hydrangea macrophylla Ayesha. I identified it by emailing photos to one of New Zealand's very helpful Hydrangea growers. The flower heads are now in transition to their autumn tones and are quite beautiful.
