and Jacqui Abbott. 25years after I first saw the Beautiful South, on their first ever tour at Gateshead Leisure Centre, I was watching Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott bring the Royal Albert Hall to it's feet. They were amazing. I was pretty close to the front, so had a great view. I didn't get home until after midnight but was buzzing. The Beautiful South were my Take That/Boyzone/One Direction and I have to say, the songs stand the test of time. Hearing the Royal albert Hall singing 'Carry on Regardless' and The Housemartin's 'Caravan of Love', gave me goosebumps. I have now got a ticket to see them in Thetford Forest and Somerset House. I really can't wait.
