Mummy and little D date

A took C for a mtn bike ride through the pentlands at 9 year old boy pace, which doesn't happen often because he has to wait for little bro. Little D was full of cold so I took him to see The Good Dinosaur. C had a fantastic time, the ride was a challenge for him and he was proper worn out when he got back. I think a distance of 15k over the hills was mentioned - a decent bike ride! D enjoyed the film in retrospect. He was very worried that the good dinosaur was going to die and had to sit on my knee for over half of the film. He did enjoy the popcorn, sweeties and juice tho!
